Hello, I'm

Stephen J. Read

Multidisciplinary Designer & Developer

Stephen J. Read: St. John's, NL native, technophile and not-so-starving artist.

Through a mingling of education, experience and raw enthusiasm, I managed to merge my love of art and technology through the pursuit of graphic design and computer science. This has given me a cognitive balance between the perception of a visual artist and the immensely technical mindset of a programmer.

Although I'm often drawn* to the more quirky, whimsical and 'geek chic' side of things, I also appreciate the corporate approach to design and development and am particularly skilled in the execution of effective branding. No matter what the project, I pride myself on my ability to give attention to detail whilst being aware of time restraints and deadlines.

When I'm not creating things or fixing gadgets, I can usually be found immersed in a book, invested in a video game, or suspended in the air at the Cirque'letics school of circus arts in Mount Pearl, NL.

If you're interested in viewing my CV or discussing a freelance venture, by all means, contact me.
